1969 Walking Sindy

Pedigree produced the first Walking Sindy, She was exactly like the sidepart Sindy but her legs are longer and are made from a very soft bendy rubber and feature discs on the hip joints that allowed her legs to move more freely,  presumably to enable her to walk along as you hold her waist. (Collectors are still trying to figure out how to make her walk!) Hair colours Blonde, Auburn and Brunette. Outfit - (raised poppers tagged made in Hong Kong) navy and red spotty jacket with matching skirt and red sleeveless jumper. This doll was also given a free yellow coat dress with matching flowery collar and belt. Markings ‘Made in Hong Kong’ on the back of her head.
